Eric grew up on a dairy in Petaluma, CA. From there his love and intrest in cattle grew. In 1996 the purchase of his purebred Angus started the begining of MAC.
Nora grew up in Placer County. Showed in 4-H and FFA. She always loved cattle and finally in 1999 was able to fulfill the desire to show steers for market.
In 2006 Eric and Nora joined together to further the business. Together they have improved the Angus herd to what it is today.
We hand select our beef, from the finest breeding, concentrating on superior carcass quality. We raise our cattle from birth on fine Lake county pastures. After the calves are weaned we start them on all natural corn based grain, all while still living on the pastures that they have become familiar with. The grain promotes the finishing process of the cattle, and provides for the marbling in the meat, which we have all become familiar with. Marbling ensures flavorful, tender and juicy cuts of meat.
Most our cattle are grain fed, raised free of antibiotics and hormones, normally injected or fed to the cattle to promote growth in the cattle feedlot industry. We in turn provide our customers with the finest Angus beef.
